Steve managed a significant transformation project for us. Sensitivity was shown to the entire family as we decided that we would live in the house whilst the work was undertaken. I found Steve to be a really good communicator and excellent at managing our expectations. It was important to us to be involved in the decision making process, and Steve accommodated that throughout the project. Whenever there was an issue he always suggested potential solutions that we would discuss and then agree on how to resolve them. We had Steve and his team complete a major conversion of an old bungalow into a modern open plan living space. The loft was converted into a master bedroom with ensuite bathroom. The garage was converted into a room with bay window and a single storey extension was added to the side behind the garage. All the ceilings were lowered to give us more height in the loft. The estimate was reasonable and we went ahead. The job took approx. 6 months. Steve was very punctual and never missed a day. We appreciated his flexibility in that if we changed our minds during the job, he would accommodate this.
At the end of the project all was finished to a high standard. As always, there are snags in any job and Steve was always ready to fix anything required. All in all, Steve was reliable and dedicated and gave us what we wanted.

We employed Steve to build a new detached garage in our back garden and to carry out a number of alterations to our house. From the outset we were very pleased with the responsiveness of Steve and the speed with which he was able to provide us with a very detailed quote. He took the time to show us his current project and he was always more than happy to make alterations to our quote as we refined our requirements prior to commencing work.
During the course of the build, Steve was on site full time and communicated progress and any unforeseen issues with us promptly so that we fully understood any changes that might be required. We particularly liked the open way he dealt with the purchasing of materials so that we were in no doubt about the quality of what was being ordered. He and his labourers were all polite and kept the grounds as tidy as could be expected given the works going on. We were also very happy with the standard of the various subcontractors he employed.
Overall we were very happy with the quality of the work completed and he did so within the timescales he estimated. We would certainly look to employ Steve for any future building work we might undertake and would happily recommend his services to others.
I was very pleased with the work carried out by Ambrose Developments. Steve and his team completed the work to a very high standard and to time. I was kept constantly informed of progress/changes. I work full -time but this was not a problem for Steve as he was more than happy to work around my working schedule. Nothing seemed to be too much trouble. I also had to live in the property while the work was being carried which isn't ideal. However, the team kept the environment as tidy as feasibly possible. During this time, I asked for further works and this too, was dealt with efficiently and professionally. I would certainly ask them to look at any further work I may need in the future.

Each individual tradesman that worked on our kitchen extension were skilled in what they did. Steve gave honest opinions and ideas and when problems arose (as they do in building projects) they were quickly resolved. We've ended up with a stunning extension to our living space.
